KEFI’s project base spans two countries at the heart of the Arabian-Nubian Shield, one of the world’s most prospective and least-explored gold and copper regions
Together, these projects represent a balanced portfolio – a flagship gold mine progressing through construction in Ethiopia, complemented by a growing pipeline of gold and copper opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Together, they underpin KEFI’s strategy of combining disciplined project development with future exploration and growth.

Why the Arabian-Nubian Shield?
The Arabian-Nubian Shield is one of the world’s largest and least-explored mineral belts, extending across north-east Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
Rich in gold, copper and other base metals, it offers significant exploration potential and hosts a growing number of world-class mining operations.
KEFI has focused exclusively on this region since 2008, building expertise, partnerships and a project portfolio across Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia.
